ddj-rr asio error

hi there

i bought the ddj-rr about a week ago

when i first installed rekordbox

i chose to use the pc master output

everything works fine

then i wanted to try out the ddj-rr's soundcard

i tried to switch the audio setting to "ddj-rr asio"

but it won't work

error message

error while opening "ddj-rr asio"

error while opening

i'm using rekordbox 4.2.1 with windows 7 64bit

latest drivers

DDJ-RR1100exe.zip

same with virtual dj

can't switch to ddj-rr asio

does anybody have a clue?

I'd leave rekord box installed but uninstall drivers for the rr then start from scratch installing them again shouldn't take long,

Don't suppose u have updated the actual latest firmware aswell for the controller from the pioneer website?

hi chris,

the first time i connected the controller

i installed all of the latest drivers, firmware etc

firmware is 1.02

just checked window's device manager

under sound...

it is showing "ddj-rr"

but "pioneer dj ddj-rr" is having the exclamation mark

tried to delete the device and software

reinstall everything

still not working

http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/view-device-status-windows-7.htm this link tells ya how to view the device status which will show an error code then ya can Google the error code ? Just a suggestion.

Code 52
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

Hello all,

DDJ-RR cannot be updated because you have not updated Windows or you failed windows update. Windows will have the Pioneer DJ authentication if you update your Windows.

Will you please click Windows Update from Start menu to update Windows?

This is the only solution to install the DDJ-RR driver.
