DDJ RB jog wheels do not slow my bpm or speed up my bpm?

My jog wills slow down a track but as soon as i let go it goes back to normal speed! this is making it impossible for me to beatmatch.

Can anyone please help me with this problem? I have only just bought this to learn and the jog wheels won't lower or higher the bpm.

without match the bpm, you can't match the beats..

Yes but when i use the pitch fader to get the correct bpm of another track it only goes to certain points. For example...

One track will be playing at 130bpm, the other at 127. When i try to use the pitch fader to adjust the track with 127 to match the 130 track it only appears to hit 129/129.4/130.4 etc....

So it seems almost impossible for me to match tracks if the pitch fader won't allow me to adjust to the correct bpm.

Any explanations would be greatly appreciated! Btw i only do this for a hobby.
