devices are not shown in rekordbox dj this totally defeats the object as we can not use our usbs sticks and drives only the laptop. It makes no sense at all when other software's have the capability to do do so. Can we please amend this if not I can no longer go forward with rekordbox dj on subscription or Evan think about buying it out right kind regards frustrated DJ
If you select Performance mode (paid version called rekordbox dj) in rekordbox, you cannot export and import your tracks and playlists. If you want to do these, please switch to Export mode (free version of rekordbox) at the top left dropdown menu.

I understand that but your then out of performance mode why is it not possible to have devices in performance mode it makes no sense at all not being able to access usbs in performance mode as most djs will have there work on devices surely this could be amended I will hazard a guess this will be a thorn in the side for most users and given a choice of serato vdj etc that all have that capability surely it makes sense to do so
So you have your tracks on a USB drive, import them in Rekordbox (export mode) to analyze, export this to an USB drive and then expect the USB drive to work in Perormance mode? But they are allready in you library, you can use them this way isn't it?
Or do you have a library on Rekordbox PC 1, export to USB, then go to Rekordbox PC 2 and want to use the USB drive without importing in that local library? Like when you are spinning at friends...?
