Is it a MP3? Then check it for errors with for example MP3 scan + repair. If it's a WAV or AIFF, recode the file to another losless format, with for example iTunes, and see if the problem persists.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with CDJ 2000s.
So basically when I play certain tracks, a few minutes into the track music stops and the player is back at the Cue mark. I find that this happens every time when I play those specific tracks. But it's never a set time into the tracks (anywhere from 30sec in to the very last seconds).
Setting Auto Cue on/off doesn't fix this issue. Disconnecting the link with my other CDJ makes no difference either.
It's just one of those random and super frustrating issues that I haven't been able to find a solution to. Your input and suggestion would be much appreciated!

Well I ended up testing the files in other formats as you suggested, and the player still jumps back to cue point randomly. The issue is that this only happens to one of my CDJs and so I don't see it being a file error. Also I usually have other DJs besides myself playing on my setup for private parties and it's not a practical thing to ask everyone to format their collection a certain way.
I spent a good half day and tested all possible combinations of settings on the player. Found out that the player works fine (at least so far) when I play on CDJ MODE instead of VINYL. No idea how these are related to each other and if this is the cause 100% but so far that's the only solution. Wondering if Pioneer even has a solution for this
Very strange. Since it's only certain tracks, hardware problems should be ruled out, and since there are no file errors software problems should be ruled out. See if you can get one of the mods to assist you in flushing the firmware on the unit.
