Set BPM to original speed after sync

Hello,

after I have synced the BPM for some tracks I might want a track to go back to original speed. How can I do this. I am able to do this with the mouse by double clicking on the on the BPM slider. But I do not see how I can get back to un-sync using the original speed with the DDJ RR.

I also do not understand the way the Sync buttons work. In which direction do they work? Where do I find a detailed description what happens when I load a track on deck 1 or deck 2, which deck will sync with the other? how can I change the master deck? I used Cross DJ before and found it intuitive. With DDJ RR, I am quite lost using the sync option.

Please shed some light on my lack of knowledge.

When the slave track is synced to the master, the playback tempo is changed while the physical tempo slider remains stationary.  The slave tracks then becomes the Master track and the tempo can be reset once the physical slider is moved to the position of the playback tempo.  For example, if the track is being played back at +2.5%, you must move the tempo slider to the +2.5% mark and then you will regain manual control of the tempo.  This behavior is the same as the sync feature on the CDJs.

I dont know if ur Controller has mapped this Function ist called Tempo Reset. That makes the BPM Original.

The Sync Button will always sync to the Master Deck tjats normaly the Deck witch is currently Playing if dont selected another Deck.

I am using RB DJ only since 2 Weeks i realy cant tell u.

I am using the DDJ RZX Controller and it hast this Tempo Reset Function but i cant find any Commands for this in the Midi Settings. Maybe ist an internal thing that gives out a Command that just send a Midisignal where the Tempo Slider is in the "0" Position.

I had a similar issue play with RB in DVS mode last night.

Situation -

Track 1 - 95 bpm master

Track 2.  Track 2 138 bpm -  For kicks I hit the sync on track 2 so it wa pitched down in a major way.  That was fun but I wanted the track back to 138 and not synced so here is the part I can't figure out.  I hit the sync button again on track 2 from my computer screen so it was no longer highlighted thinking this will unsync track 2 and go back to the original BPM.  No luck,

I then put another song on deck 2, replacing track 2 and went back to the original track 2 and deck 2.  The BPM was still messed up.  I went to internal mode then back to relative mode.  Ultimately I don't know what combo of frantic scramble brought track 2 back to it's original bpm.  Now totally gunshy using the sync.

Sounds dumb but what are the exact steps to sync and unsync a track in DVS mode?  I have to be missing something or is this a bug?
