I've been working on this for almost a week now. I try to format an external hard drive FAT 32 and as far as I can tell it is formatted but when I plug into the player I get "Format USB" error. I check and the hard drive IS formatted USB. I've tried multiple hard drives and a few different formatting tools including the HPUSBDISK formatter and something called Macrorit Partition Expert. I had someone send me direction on how to format using the Windows DOS prompt, but after 4 hours I got a "partition too large to format" error. I've tried to format a Transcend 512GB disc, a WD MyPassport 3TB disc and a Seagate 1TB disc. I get the same error every time and now a little worried about the weekend.... My old HD still works for now but I need a 2nd for backup!

@Hockeymetz try formatting with a free tool called (miniaide fat32 formatter) and don't unplug the hard drive from the cdj while flashing usb light it will corrupt the drive and will have to be reformatted.i suggest delete all partitions create a new partition and then format,1TB should not give issues 2TB will be slow and sometimes freeze if you have it full 3TB i think it's too much i tried with a 5TB and it did not work,good luck .
