XDJ-R1 1.12 -> 1.13 = Both the left Roll and right Flanger button lights not working

Update: after playing a couple of hours, the right Flanger button light suddenly re-appeared.

Left roll button still not lighting up though!

If you didn't encouter the problems they mention in the release...you can not update the firmware...the most mportant is that the effects work the light is not a big issue :)

Sure, if it ain't broke don't fix it. But that was of course the case with the unit sometimes giving 'the noise'... 

It's annoying to have one problem fixed and then getting another one (which shouldn't be that hard to fix).

And I know how hard it is to not have software regressions (I was once a software developer). But then again that's what automated testing was invented for...

Hopefully they will get this problem fixed, without trying to tell me that this must be a hardware problem. 

I understand your feeling and it is really annonying.

In the service manual they said a version down is possible under the firm update section but I don't know if downgrading the version is allowed or not.

@Hassen > We don't recommend downgrading unless there is a specific reason to do so as directed by a Pioneer DJ technician.

@Ruben > Try leaving your R1 unpowered (not just off, unplugged) for a few minutes, then try running the firmware update again. See if anything changes.

Does the button still function and it's only the LED that is not illuminating?

I agree with the download process and this is why I said I don't no if it is allowed or not. We should follow technician advices. 

So far what I understand it is just a problem of LEDs and the effects are working.

In my case, I will not update as i am not facing such issues.

Tried re-applying as you suggested Pulse. It doesn't change anything (and the right Flanger button keeps working).

The button functions okay, but the LED is not illuminating.
