Soooo, here's my setup: Rekordbox DJ 4.2.4 with DVS on mac 10.11, DJM900NSX2 and two XDJ1000MK2s
I can't figure out how to get my XDJs to work in Performance mode. May be a simple routing error or rekordbox_Control_Signal.wav thing (not sure where it goes). My DJM900NSX2 is working and the audio is coming thru the system but audio can only be controlled via rekordbox interface, not my XDJs.
Followed the setup exactly for using CDJs. Everything looks correct.
Please help a newbie.
Why are you trying to use DVS mode when the XDJs are perfect for HID control?
This video is for the XDJ-700 on a Windows machine, but the concept is identical - connect each player via USB.

Thanks for the reply. Main reason, my Pioneer Dj Request wasn't answered properly and I tried digging into it myself. And now I have DVS and probably don't need it. That's ok.
To clarify: connect both XDJs and mixer to computer via USB (3 connections)?
If your DJM and XDJs are all linked together you only need one USB cable.
Thanks. Ok, connected XDJs and DJM via 3 USBs and everything was good. Then to free up USB ports, I hot linked XDJs and DJM with 1 USB to computer like you suggested. Works but now the master level has no output (no LEDs) even though audio is clearly coming out of speakers. I would prefer this setup but need master level working properly.

Did you install the drivers to use that link method?
Yes, all drivers and firmware installed/updated. Seems to be working, but master level is super low. Need to dig into rekordbox dj and mixer settings. When all three USBs are connected its fine. But then I don't have any free USB ports...struggle is real. :)
Do you have it set to use the XDJs or DJM as the audio interface? You should be using the DJM, and set it to EXTERNAL MIXER mode. From there you can adjust the channel gain to compensate for the individual player levels, and the master would certainly not be low.
