ddj-rzx firmware and driver update

it wont let me update latest driver and firmware im running  OS X 10.9.5 but keeps coming up with error. tried deleting rekordbox and dwnlding again but no good. also the sound quality when i record my mixes are poor any settings i should know about.

What is the error? Can you please post a screen shot or photo?

having same issue will not update the firmware getting error msg...

"An error has occured. (9) It was not possible to update the program.... this is so frustrating.

 problem fixed...it was a laptop issue

Hi guys,

 

I'm having the exact same error, its driving me mental and I can't seem to fix it? Ive tried re downloading it and it doesn't work....it just gets to 15% and says "An error has occured. (9) and gives me the steps how to start the update?

 

@ksmooth if you see this could you let me know what you did?

Are you guys connected to USB port A with the RZX in update mode (turning on the controller by holding down shift & sync on the left deck)?

I had my laptop in port B and held the buttons down on A🙈
