DDJ-RR : Bad sound when playing same track in parallel

Sure this isn't just phasing? Perhaps what's happening is when you then pause and play again, the tracks are slightly differently synched so you're then not getting the same phase.

Yes. I just realized that the same applies if I just increase the tempo of a song and set master tempo. :(

and when I then pause and play again it sounds fine.

Buffer size is set to 2016.

It honestly sounds like phase cancellation–hence why it sounds better if you pause/play one of the tracks so that they're no in sync. Songs rich in stereo content when played in sync on two decks will actually cancel each other out, resulting in a very dull, lifeless sounding mix. The reason turntablists can have two tracks playing in sync with no loss in volume is because the tracks they're using consist primarily of very mono-centric elements–a sincle bassline, kick/snare, simply lead line, etc.

This is just a case. A video recording of what you're experiencing would really help illustrate the issue.

@Peter > As @lostnthesound says, it's a simple case of phase cancellation! If you make sure the Master Tempo is disabled and that you have the tracks slightly out of alignment.

thank you for your answers. But with this, the function to play the same song in parallel on the second deck by pressing the load button twice has a bug as according to your answer they are not in sync. correct?

I also had the same issue today with just one deck playing (with master tempo on, but playing with regular speed). Pause and play again solved it. 

Please help!
