HDJ 700 or Beats Solo 2?

Looking to buy a pair of headphones for mixing. I know that Beats are overpriced garbage generally, only reason I'm considering them is because my friend wants to sell me the Solo 2 wireless for $100 flat. I've been planning on buying the HDJ 700, I was just curious if the Beats Solo 2 are better spec-wise? I'm not sure because for some reason all the headphones for Beats seem to hide their specs so I can't tell driver size etc. Any opinions? I basically just need to know which is better. I'm pretty sure the HDJ 700 is, I just wanna make sure as the Solo 2 is normally $200 so I thought maybe it'd have better specs

And yes I realize this is the wrong section, I don't see a headphone section and rekordbox seemed the most active and I need an answer ASAP if possible, friend really wants to get rid of the headphones haha. Thanks in advance for any help!

EDIT: Just realized, the Solo 2 are wireless....I use a Pioneer XDJ-RX, no bluetooth on it as far as I'm aware. So I think the Solo 2 wouldn't even be compatible? Unless they have an option to use a chord as well as go wireless? Anybody know?

My recommendation is if you want headphones to DJ with, you don't want wireless; there's a latency which will cause issues for you in trying to mix... and I'm not just saying that because you're comparing a Pioneer DJ product with another brand. ;)

Nothing good comes from DJing with wireless headphones. You need zero latency when mixing, especially if you use one ear to cue with the headphones and the other to listen to a monitor (speaker).

I'm not saying not to purchase Pioneer headphones...but I am strongly suggesting you to check out V-Moda headphones. They're built like tanks, ergonomic and sound incredible. They also stand by their product fully in multiple ways. Oh, and they come with a badass hardshell case Check their website for more info.
