It's not a concern if you use the SYNC function.
I am about to purchase a pair of the players XDJ-1000MK2. At the PIONEER came across a post in which oficialnym pioneer commentary explains: "If 0.3msec gap, which is rounded, exists, one loop will generate 0.3msec every time a one-beat loop is played and this gap will be accumulated. For example, 4.8msec of gap will be generated by mixing for 4 bars (16 beats). This is corrected when using the SYNC function"

I would like to ask whether the model XDJ-1000MK2 problem has been solved and whether it concerns the CDJ.

Yes, I had to realize that when we press the sync system will match the songs using the grid bitgridu. But not in this thing.
I just wonder whether the series between xdj cdj and there is a significant difference in generating greater inequality gap after a specified period of time (eg. 4 bars).
If xdj-1000nxs2 generates greater time slot than the CDJ-2000nxs2 over 4 bars, if CDJ is more accurate in terms of the algorithm implemented in the device, the time will add the missing amount to the CDJ and enjoy greater precision.
Please understand me, I do not mean automatic matching pieces. On your dream equipment Pioneer sparing agents from space of two years. We appreciate manual intervention in the mix and match songs I wanna hand, however, if there is a difference in hardware between the side of the CDJ and XDJ will have to wait a little and dozbierać coins on the CDJ ...
I'll be very grateful for the sincere advice of professionals who are at the source.
Best wishes
Janek
It might not be a concern if you use Sync Pulse but every single club I go to I always check out the DJ gear (sad yes but we all do it) and almost all of them are not using Pro DJ Link so no Sync.
Sync is the boogyman of the DJ world and "ahem" real DJs can't be seen to be using it so it would seem most clubs don't have the Sync feature available.
I finally spent an evening playing around with my XDJ1000MK1's after buying them some months ago. Seems like a great controller overall, except for one major flaw which has been discussed previously on another thread (couldn't express my concerns on that thread as it was closed to comments, I can only assume because Pioneer didn't want to hear more of the same complaints if they couldn't even guarantee there'd be a firmware fix for the issue). The issue that I found so astounding was that the pitch would go wild during a not insignificant number of mixes, despite the tracks being solidly matched beforehand. I'm talking like 3-5% change in pitch in a matter of 10sec or less, not at all trivial and would make using these at an actually gig a huge gamble. Of course this shouldn't ever happen with any DJ controller, let alone relatively expensive ones. Having to chase each sudden pitch change makes for some crappy mixing, and a crappy experience for the DJ's and the people in the crowd alike.
The Pioneer moderator said JUST USE SYNC, but that's not a real solution for many of us. C'mon, the most fundamental job of any external deck/controller is to reliably hold it's speed after it's been beat matched. I generally don't use the sync function unless i'm looping or sampling or doing something more intrecate, and as MiQ said above many DJ's work the same way. I would rather spend my time playing music than spend countless hours going through all my tracks to make sure they are all beatgridded perfectly so that I can be sure sync doesn't screw everything up, as it does from time to time.
Anyways, I hope the MK2's don't have the same problem, and I sure hope that Pioneer is taking these concerns seriously from some of their best customers. Seems like a firmware update would likely be able to sort this major issue out, but I didn't see it listed in the latest update from last week. I sure hope the Mk1's don't get left behind when it comes to proper support so soon after they were released, especially given the MK2's release so soon after.
Would appreciate an update from a Pioneer rep on here about this. Perhaps some insight from one of the software engineers could be elicited as well?
Unless you can get this on video, it's not an easy explanation to the engineering team.
