Rekordbox DJ + CDJ 850 - Serious Audio issue

So I have Rekordbox DJ set-up with 2 CDJ-850's and an external mixer.

The CDJs are connected to my PC through USB and I'm using the CDJs sound card for the audio output, using the devices ASIO drivers. The RCA output of the CDJs is then connected to my external (analogue) mixer. I'm using the latest version of RekordBox DJ (4.2.4) and both of the CDJs have the latest firmware version installed.

My PC running Rekordbox DJ is very recent and both the program and all of my tracks are stored on an SSD drive. In general the latest version of Rekordbox runs very smooth and there are no performance issues.

The big problem I'm having is that every once in a while (about every 45 minutes or so) the sound will suddenly break-up and stop. The track(s) will keep playing inside Rekordbox DJ ( the waveform keeps moving and time keeps running ), but there's no sound coming from the CDJ's. To get the sound back again, I need to press play on the CDJ.
This problem happens most often when both tracks are playing simultaneously, or that might just be a coincidence.

This issue is a real deal breaker, since now I can't use my set-up in any professional capacity. I've seen some posts with similar problems, but none of them seem to offer any solution to this problem.

Any help in fixing this would be hugely appreciated!

These posts are all from rekordbox 4.x; please ensure that you're using rekordbox 5 and have the latest drivers / firmware installed for your CDJ-850. If you still experience issues, please file an inquiry ticket here and our rekordbox support team will be able to gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.

Same here!

I play a club in every week where I have to work with 850's, and have the same issues with them.
The sound just stops suddenly, while in the software (and on the CDJ's) the track is still running, and I have to press play 2 times to get the sound back.
It's really irritating, when the club is packed, and the for the most horrible situation, when I'm not on stage (I play 6-7 hours, so I usually take some 3-4 min breaks in every 2 hr or so), I have to run back to press a button...
No other CDJ's have the same problem, I guess (I'm using Rekordbox DJ with 2000's, 2000nxs', 900's, 900nxs', and on xdj 1000's), but this club only have this type of CDJs, so it's a big issue for me.

I have this problem since v4.1.1. (32bit), now I'm running the latest version of RBDJ, 64bit on an i5 PC (6200U) with 8 GB of RAM, SSD and up to date Windows 10, the CDJ 850's both have the latest firmware, no performance issues at all with 4.2.4.

I also noticed, when I have both CDJ's plugged in, used with Pioneer CDJXDJ ASIO, the Deck B (or Deck 2) sounds terrible.
It sounds like an overcompressed, low-quality mp3. (I usually play wav's, but that's not the case, because it's only an issue with the 2nd deck, and only on the 850's, never with any other player)
On the other hand, the same track, same file sounds pretty nice on Deck 1.

Thanks for the help!

So you're saying that you didn't have the problem using versions of Rekordbox that were older than 4.1.1?
If this is the case, then it's clearly a software problem and not a hardware issue with the 850's, which gives me some hope this can be resolved.

I don't have the issue with the sound quality of the second deck when using the CDJXDJ ASIO drivers.

Yesterday the problem happened again, but this time only one deck was playing, so it's not only caused by 2 decks playing at the same time.

I only have this issue a few months ago, I don't remember that I had any problems with older versions (older than 4.1.1.); and yes, it's happening to me also when only 1 deck is playing (and sometimes both), so it's a weird situation, definitely a software problem.

This issue seems to happening more and more frequently on my setup, and is starting to really annoy me. Today I was playing for about an hour and the problem occurred three times :(

Is there any official channel or website where you can report and track bugs for Rekordbox DJ?
