Pioneer CDj-2000NXS2 Traktor Pro 2

Have you set the MIDI Mode in the Utility Menu on the CDJ units to Advance?

Are the CDJs connected directly to your computer or are they going through a hub? If the later, is it a powered hub?

Both CDJ's are connected to the laptop, no need for a hub laptop has 4 usb ports

There is no Advanced Mode in the Utility Menu listed on both CDJ's (for some reason) it just isn't there.....

so from there, I cannot get anywhere

Here's what I have done so far:

1 reinstalled Traktor 2 Pro ver. 2.11 or what ever the current is

2 reinstalled all of the pioneer driver Utility Menu updates, and I'm using the 5.1 or current

3 Advance Mode is still missing in the Utility Menu on both players?

still get the annoying pop-up error ( "Cannot Resolve Plugin libpcon" )

watched the Video Tutorial, but couldn't get past step 2 where you choose  what traktor channel A or B, that option never appears on both my CDJ's NXS2's

Apologies, I realize now after reviewing the manual again that the Advanced MIDI option is no longer in Utility Menu, as the Link Button brings up the options to select from either Control Mode or USB-MIDI.

Based on your original post, the CDJ freezes on the Control Mode/USB-MIDI screen, correct?

Do you still get the error message in Traktor if the CDJs are not connected?

Can you provide your laptop model & specs?

I can't find any record or listing about "Plugin Libpcon," so my suspicion is that something is going on with regards to Traktor and your system. Just a guess at this point.

Sorry for the myriad of questions, just trying to eliminate possible causes and provide as much info as possible to others who will view this post, mods included.

Yeah the CDJ's should just open up into Traktor and enable that choose a ch. A or B

but the CDJ's just freezes :-( 

Now I can use Traktor in the DJM 900NXS2 it works, but I still have no HID-controls in the CDJ's 

Now in Rekordbox & VirtualDJ everything opens up automatically and works ( I don't have to do anything) so I guess 2 DJ software programs out of 3 aint bad.

  I got so fed-up with Traktor 2 Pro I uninstalled it from my notebook... and will EAT that $129 bucks I paid for that program , I may revisit Traktor at a later date & time, to try and make it communicate w/ my CDJ NXS2's.

I'm using a HP Envy notebook i7 core Windows 10 Pro, however I don't think it's a OS problem, looks like a Traktor plug-in problem to me,

I contacted NI and they wanted me to take a screen-shot, so they could look into it, but NI has yet to get back to me, I doubt they will......

so for now, looks like Rekordbox & VirtualDJ will be my go-to-setup while using the notebook.......

CDJ 2000NXS2 Traktor 2 Pro problem ("Cannot Resolve Plugin libpcon") SOLVED

Here's what I found out, and what I did:

1. anti-virus program flagged the 64bit windows traktor driver and was treating it like it was malware

2. So I disabled the anti-virus program and disconnected for the Ethernet & WiFi

but once the anti-virus detects it , it's too late...

3. I then have to reinstall the whole Traktor program, so it won't come up with that annoying "Cannot Resolve Plugin libpcon" error message.

I'm currently working with my anti-virus tech-support to resolve this re-occurring problem .

So I kinda solved the problem as long as I'm not connected to the internet and my anti-virus program is completely disabled ;-(

Compared to Rekordbox & VirtualDJ,  Traktor is an awful DJ program that needs a lot of work, at least in rekordbox & virtualDJ, I can at least get the full-wave-forms, on the cdj's this is not possible with Traktor ;-(

Ah yes, the ol' Anti-Virus problem. Been there before prior to my Apple days.

I understand the Traktor frustration my friend. I used it for many years and have/had a collection of Native Instruments hardware and software–my Maschine and S49 both had to be returned do to manufacturer defects. The process was a bit of a pain due to the epically slow rate at which their customer service responded. I digress.

Hopefully there will be a means to place that driver on a White List that will allow the virus scan stuff to bypass it. As a general rule (and I'm sure you already know this), best practice is to keep that software disabled (as well as and firewall) to keep things flowing nicely and prevent any hiccups.

Hopefully you'll be able to get this sorted out–in the meantime, RB and VDJ sound like solid alternatives.
