DDJ SX2 Play button repeated failure

The Play button on the left side of the DDJ SX2 controller is sticking.

I had it replaced already 2 months ago and again the same issue comes up. I use it as gentle as human can and still it still fails. On top of this my console has already been repaired 3 times!!! How is this possible for Pioneer product to be so defect-ful??? Do I have a lemon on my hands? No other electronics product I have ever owned been so unsound.

After all the never-ending issues with this console, I am seriously considering never to use Pioneer console again. EVER.
Please help to resolve this headache.
ps: I use an IMac 2012 10.10.5 with the latest version of Serato DJ software.

Thank you

Evgen

Have you been using a Pioneer DJ authorized service center?  If so, they should offer a warranty on their work.  Meaning, if you get your left deck play button repaired and the same button stops working shortly after, the service center will not charge you to repair it again.

If you are not using a Pioneer DJ authorized service center, your warranty is now void and Pioneer DJ can not be held responsible for any damages the unauthorized service center may have caused.

I did use the authorized repair centre and I will use the warranty on the part installed , namely the Play button. My issue is the abysmal quality of my controller. How can Play buttons break after such a short use?? These are supposed to be quality-made components and yet they break following 2 month use. How is this possible??? Any part of this reputable product should last at least a year with no failures. It has been failing me time and time again!! What kind of quality is this???

I can assure you that your case is very rare.  If all our controllers failed after 2 months of use, you would have heard about it.  I advise you to have a discussion with the repair center and let them know exactly what is happening.  There may be something else going on inside the controller's circuitry that is causing the buttons to malfunction.
