Quantize button NOT quantizing in XDJ-RX after music preparation in Rekordbox DJ software

Thank you for responding. I updated the firmware; but I also did some troubleshooting and found that when I press the quantize button, in addition, I have to press the SYNC button on the DJ controller in order to get them to play at the same measure desired...

Does any of this make any sense?

Also, I felt that by having the quantize button ON would make sure that the next track would come in on the desired beat measure; but I'm guessing I was wrong in that the SYNC button also has to be activated on both decks of the XDJ-RX?

I have the same problem with the quantize hot cue pad's on my xdj-rx. I would like to have the same behavior that traktor has. For ex: in traktor it doesn't matter if i press the hot cue pad's not on beat measure there is no delay from pressing the pad's.On rekordbox and on my xdj-rx I must press the hot cue pad's right on beat measure and even so there is a small delay from pressing to actually to jump to my next hot cue and u can hear the jump.I will post a video with a example of my bug from my rekordbox and from my traktor.

Same here -- I cant get quantize to work, It happened 1 time by mistake, Do u mean I have to press sync 1st then quantize, or do u mean that just quantize and sync both have to be on, or do u mean u have to hold the sync button while u press quantize ? Im confused - Also I realised that once it did work by accident. and the start/play button did quantize exactly to the beat, that pushing or pulling on the jog wheel no longer works, SO If ur beat grid analysis is even 5ms off, there is no way to correct once ur in quantize - is it me, or is this stupid ?

Also, how do I know which firmware im running ?  -

@Paul Middleton : to see what version of you're firmware press and hold on xdj-rx menu button and scroll down to firmware version.

i just double check it. --> Everything is running well !!!

1. to declare what is "Quantize" :  You are everytime ON Beat. LOOPs / Cuepoints were set exactly at the Gridmarker. If you press a Hotcue Button the Track will jump to this Point exactly IN Beat. 

Example :  Beat is 1,2,3,4 , 1,2,3,4 , .... you like to press at 1.0 --> pressing the Hotcue exactly at 1.0 or just a little bit before --> jumping in Quant to the HotCuepoint.

Pressing a little bit too late at 1.2 --> Quant is waiting until Beat 2 and then jump to the  HotCuepoint.

In this Case Rekordbox is not jumping 0.8 before the Hotcue like Traktor did !

This is QUANT !

2. Sync 

Deck A is running as Master with 126 BPM.  Deck B is a 122 BPM Track. So activate SYNC at DECK B.  Deck B  BPM is now jumping to 126.  Just press PLAY and the GRIDS are SYNC !!  Not the BARs  / Beats  1,2,3,4 !

So if you press Play when Deck A is at BEAT 3  --> Deck B will start with the actual Start BEAT 1.  

So SYNC ONLY means that the BPM and BeatGRID is SYNC ! NOT THE BARs ! 

It is not necessary to activate QUANT for this SYNC !
