i got this figured out it was the tempo bend sensitive set too low on traktor setting . move it up a bit and works fine now.

CDJ 2000 NXS2 Traktor HID
Notice that when using the CDJ with Traktor in HID, Nudging the side of the platter has no effect.
I am using the latest version of Traktor and Firmware for the CDJ.
Either a bug or a Mapper issue. I believe the platter control is not in the mapper so i believe only Pioneer can address this bug.
