Request: Rekordbox DJ BPM more detailed

Hi! I've been using Rekordbox DJ since day one and alot of times the BPM shifts even when I set the tempo exactly the same according to RBDJ

For example: When I analyse 2 track on normal OR dynamic, and one is 121 and the other is 122 bpm. After beatmatching, within a while the two tracks just go out of sync.

I think this is due to the fact that the BPM counter only goes until a tenth (so 121.0 for example). On the CDJ's XDJ's the BPM counter goes until 121.00. It's way more specific.

Somehow I feel RBDJ round it up since sometimes 1 beat slower shows as 0.7% while I it probably should be 0.8%

It it possible just to get that extra number on the meter?

The RZ has a pitch accuracy of approximately 0.035%, not 0.1%.

The software may only show one decimal place in horizontal mode, but it is calculating a much more precise value and rounding the display.

There is no problem in using the sync button, it will provide a much more accurate pitch accuracy.

I have noticed this issue too and it's really annoying. I'm using ddj-rx controller. Please fix it!

I have the same controller, but I don't think it's controller-dependant. And I would say it's a quite easy "fix" although I think Pio does this to make the CDJ's a bit more superior.

EDIT: And I know it makes sense atm but it won't if there are DJ's who use the CDJ's as a controller.

I know one more person (my friend) who has ddj-rx and also has this beat shift problem. So yeah. It shouldn't be controlled-dependant problem but who knows. :)
I will wait comments from pioneer supporters.

Chris, maybe you tried serato software with your controller? Is there also songs are shifting even with the same bpm?

And message for pioneer: maybe you could make an additional option to choose 1% tempo range (near 6%/10%/16%/wide)?

You can get the BPM Info with two decimasl on vertical view mode on Rekordbox. Also when you switch view modes, the BPM will change for example a track that is showing 124bpm on horizontal will show 123.98 on vertical? Whats up with that?

The thing with Rekordbox is the precision on the Pitch Control is not good. I use DDJ-RZ and I can only get increments of 0.10% on the 6% range. On any CDJ you get 0.02%. That five times more precision. So when you try to beat match by ear on the RZ, you gonna have a hard time. I can only guess thats even worst on smaller controllers like RX-RR-RB. Only solution is to use SYNC button I guezz thats what they want anyway.

Yep, situation with small controllers is not good. Anyway, I paid for a product a lot money and it would be very good to have some new modifications or fixes in this part. #Pioneer, please hear us.

There's a magic button you can press that can instantaneously synchronize multiple tracks together with ease...
