Xdj 1000 mk1 Auto Loop question

I’m preparing my tracks in Rekordbox. When I save loops at the end of the track I want that as soon as the player enters the loop it starts automatic (as you can set in Traktor when checking the “active” box near the mixer. Is this possible ? So track starts, plays until the saved loop and when entering the saves loop it stays there.

Yes, the XDJ-1000 will load an active loop from memory when it reaches that part of the track.

In Rekordbox in the Memory Cue panel, a loop will have an orange loop symbol. Click on the loop symbol and it will turn red. That's now the active loop.

It's not as nice as Traktor as you can only set one active loop per track.

I dont have an XDJ1000 so dont know if you need to set anything on that specific player.

Yes would be nice to know if I can do this on my xdjs or do have to play via Rekordbox.

Thanks @pulse for your reply. Tested it today. When i call the loop cue point and press play the loop is active, but when playing the track from start and It reaches the loop cue point, the loop isn’t activated and the track keeps on playing till the end. Can this be changed by a setting ?

Is it a MEMORY ACTIVE LOOP, or simply a HOT LOOP?

I figured it out. I had to klick the loop symbol so it turns red. After exporting to the stick the loop is now playing automatic.
