1000MK2 skipping to previous track

I don't quite understand what you're doing for that to occur... what is causing the song to "skip" to the previous one? Are you scrubbing the track? Are you pressing a button?

Hmm, will try to explain better.

So the song is loaded up in the player, this song has beats right in the beginning of the song. i want to beatmatch  this song into another song that is playing, i press play, scratch the platter (vinyl mode) on the loaded song and it goes back and forth into the previous and the loaded song. After a couple of times i let the platter go and the song is paused by then.

Is there a setting where i scratch the platter of the cued song that it does not go back to the previous song? Really hard to beatmatch a song into another one when it keeps going back and forth.

I did find some older threads from a couple of years back about something similar, that there is not enough space in front of the song to manually beatmatch.

Nobody has this problem?

Switch play mode to "single". Track will not jump to previous. 

Also you can drop the track into the mix by pushing CUE button instead of moving jog wheel...
