Long time Serato/Mixemergency/Resolume user here and i'm currently testing out Rekordbox DJ solely because of the Lyrics plan. I often video dj at bars,pubs and venues.
Videos and Lyrics keeps the night more interactive for patrons and even before Rekordbox DJ introduced the very welcomed Lyric plan i tend to download Lyrics video from my video dj pools rather than the official videos.
I noticed that the lyrics download limits at 3000 tracks.
For Festival djs and others who have a planned set that might seem like a lot, but for open format bars and pubs djs 3000 tracks doesn't scratch the surface as you never know what direction you are going to take during the course of a 6 hour set, especially if you do it 2 or 3 times a week as in my case.
Is there a plan to remove this limitation?
I feel its more of the pub/bar/local disco djs that will use the Lyric feature the most but the 3000 limit is a bit of a gripe.
I can think of a workaround such as managing the 3000 limit mid set i.e remove lyrics from already played videos/tracks and download cued tracks lyrics but that's adding extra work to an already busy night. It will also require having internet and leaving wi-fi on which would tie up mac resources further.
During peak time that will be impossible as i often mix in and out quickly. One bar, next hook, next drop etc.
I like the fact that one can layer the lyrics on the official videos.
Another thing is the scroll type lyrics...i'd rather not have lyrics than to have that option. I'm talking about the style that looks like its been cut from the bible and everything just scrolls up in tiny fonts.
Can there be an option to disable non preferred lyric styles or set favorites?

I couldn't access the forum from Google Chrome, any ideas? I just get a looping page in the log in page. Had to use firefox.
