You probably disabled vinyl mode - press SHIFT+SLIP and it will re-enable it.
Hello, my SX2's wheelsets are not working.
Whenever I put my finger on the spinning disc, the music does not stop and the wheel keeps turning. It lags and generally, the functions of the wheels are laggy or unpredictable. However, sometimes it is responsive and works...
I believe I have the updated firmware and driver.
Any help here? I run Windows 10 64-bit

No, it doesn't work for both settings. On vinyl mode or not. ANd it's not sensitivity cause no matter the amount of pressure I put on the wheel, it keeps crawling/the song keeps going. I can't stop it with the touch of my finger.
anything else I can try?
The SX/2 jogs are not pressure sensitive - they work on electro-static sensitivity.
Try these two things... first, the sensitivity setting:

If that doesn't work, a reset:
1. Power ON DDJ-SX2 with holding left DECK 1 button and SHIFT button of the left deck. DDJ-SX2 start up in TEST mode.
2. In the TEST mode, press SYNC buttons of both decks for two seconds.
Power cycle and see if that resolves it.
I had a similar problem with my DDJ-RX where the touch of the platter would sometimes not work for a while and then start functioning again.
Do this just as a simple test:
1. Power off you controller.
2. unplug the RCA output from the controller
3. Power the controller back on and listen for a hum from the speakers. If you hear a hum, try touching the platters or metal parts on the controller and the hum will get louder.
If this is the case you have a grounding issue in your setup. Somehow in my case my rotel receiver interferes with the controller even though they are not connected to the same outlet. Switching output to play through PC speakers (no receiver involved this time) and testing the platters shows that they work flawlessly!
How to solve the grounding issue in our cases making us able to use whatever receiver/amplifier we want is the next big question...
