I've connect the USB and that works by the way... it's only the ethernet cable that doesn't work.

SeguirXDJ-RX LINK ISSUE WITH MAC
Hi,
I cannot connect my XDJ-RX to my MacBook Pro via ethernet cable and I've tried trouble shooting it through "Read this article before posting for help with rekordbox!".
I've updated both firmware (V.2.21) and software (V.5.2.0) of rekordbox.
Mac is updated to macOS High Sierra version 10.13.3.
Firewall is off and there are no third party firewall preventing it.
WIFI was also turned off whilst Mac and XDJ-RX were restarted and tested.
My computer has been tested for viruses and there's nothing.
Any other solutions because I can't seem to find them lol.

@jamie > When using the ethernet, the XDJ-RX will connect using the rekordbox button, and rekordbox must be in EXPORT mode.
Hi, I've just realised it had to be in 'export mode', is there no way of using it through 'performance' mode? Or is there a way I could use the sampler in Export mode so I can include sound fx and vocal samples in my recorded mixes?
Yes, you can use rekordbox dj (performance mode) with the XDJ-RX; you were asking about LINK, so I answered that.
If you want to use the sampler, you need to be in performance mode. Connect via USB and put the controller in MIDI mode. You'll need to re-map the pad buttons as none of the pad modes default to the sampler.
Okay I’ll try this, thanks a lot for your help!
I now can’t get the audio to play through the xdj driver. I’ve read the manual and tried downloading the driver and still no other option is appearing apart from “Built-in Output” which plays out the laptop 😅
Jut spoke to someone on the phone and I’ve also tried to uninstall the driver with the xdj not connected (let the Mac restart) and then re-install the driver with the xdj still not connected (let the Mac restart) and then reconnected the xdj to see if it would show in the audio midi set up (on the Mac) and still no other option other than the “Built-in Output”
Please don't crosspost; I've already answered you here.
