Hey so I've been doing a gig at a bar recently and wanted to plug into their stereo to play my tunes outside on the patio (have been just using my 2 speaker setup with no problems) and have run into a buzzing problem. I have a DJM 250, two pioneer turntables and I've been using a really long RCA cable to plug into their stereo system. Is it as simple as the RCA master output is unbalanced and that is what is causing the loud hummm when I turn up the volume on their stereo? How would I go about solving this?

RCA cables are unshielded and not recommended for long runs as they act as an antenna and pick up unwanted noise. Use the XLR outputs for the cable run and then use an adapter to convert to RCA to connect to their amplifier / audio distribution.

I am using my XLR outputs for my two powered speakers. Could I daisy chain an XLR chord over to their amp and then use a converter to plug into their amp?

Cool... would it only play that certain channel tho if i hooked it through, say, the left speaker
Correct, unless you ran both outputs from the monitors over to their system.
