I cannot figure out how to pre listen to the waveform in the browser of rekordbox on the djm 450 without it playing out on a channel. Even virtual dj has this functionality and i do not pre plan my sets for every track and try to keep my sets open format. I need to listen before cueing on a deck. I cannot believe this is not available. Any advice on how to pre listen?

When using the DJM-450 in EXTERNAL mixer mode, make sure the OUTPUT PREVIEW selection is not one of the channels, but you may not have another option to send the preview (which is typically the headphone output) to an output which is not a channel. Sorry, I don't have my 450 connected right now to tell you exactly which one to use.
I have this same issue with my DJM-S9. I cannot choose any other option in the preview output section other than CH 1 CH2 and Sample volume. which all of these options play through the main speakers.
@irvin > Sorry, the S9 was never intended for use with rekordbox and thus doesn't have as much flexibility for routing the preview audio.
