5.2.3 Update causes erratic play

Got a prompt to install the 5.2.3 update today and now when playing a track through the internal player using laptop speakers, there's a lot of static, audio dropouts and most tracks play at a slower speed or speedup/slow down. Tried to play with buffer settings, but no improvement. Reverted back to 5.2.2 but the problem is still there. Anybody else with the problem?

You can install multiple versions in parallel and the executable is not affected by its brethren, it could be a change was made to the settings, which are shared between versions.

I haven't had any issues with it yet. Best to file a ticket.

I did the update today as well but my issue is exporting to usb stick, it stops at random percentage depending on folder,i tried different folders and all of them did the same froze at 14% the other at 61% and the last i tried stopped at 42% i don't get it, i had not issues exporting previously on the 5.2.2,i will try one more time tomoro and if it does it again imma have to go back to 5.2.2 hopefully this does't save files from the 5.2.3 and continue to give me issues.

Hey koobah, did you have some other app open using sound? I get that at times when using other apps, if not how about if you try on device manager unistalling and reinstalling your soundcard, that's all i can think of right now until i get in front of the computer, good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have a lot of other apps including Studio One, Sound Forge and Vegas, all of which are using the sound driver and are fine. I already tried reinstalling the sound driver, but this hasn't changed anything. I'm using rekordbox on Microsoft Surface i7, 16GB. A major 1803 update was also installed recently, but not sure if it has something to do with the problem, which appeared after the 5.2.3 update. Not sure what else to do. Maybe Pulse can chime in?

Yea i guess so,unless the 5.2.3 left trails of files that make the issue continue even if you reverted to 5.2.2 that would have to be a deep unistall using an app like orbit unistall that removes all left over files and reinstall 5.2.2,unless pulse has a better idea.
