I have 2 XDJ 1000 MK2s and my buddy and I often play back to back. When I load my thumb drive into the player, it prompts me to load my settings and everything is fine. When he loads his USB into the other player, he can never load his settings. It certainly doesn't prompt him and when he manually goes into the player settings to load his settings manually, they actually don't appear. Are we doing something wrong? Anyone else experience this problem too?
He may not have his preferences stored to his drive. Get him to check that within rekordbox by connecting the device, click the device name on the tree at the left, then click the MY PREFERENCES tab. Make a change to any setting, then it will prompt to confirm the change to the device. Eject it then test in a player.
