DDJ1000 Audio Distortion

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased a DDJ 1000 and love the thing. However, I can't fully enjoy it because of the fact that (both) my master and my headphones have a crackling and distorted sound coming through.

I took my controller into the shop, plugged in another laptop and it was working fine.

I am on a Microsoft Surface Book (Windows 10) running Intel Core i7 at 2.6GHz w/ 16GB of Ram and a 64 bit operating system. It has the latest update of Windows installed (1803).

Other posts here suggest taking down the minimum performance settings in my battery options (if that would have an effect?) but again, the Surface Book does not have that option.

All the knobs are at 12 o'clock, playing well below the red (orange and green only), I have the latest firmware installed and the latest version of Rekordbox installed too.

Can someone please assist?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi,

I've had the same problems with Windows 10 and latest Laptop generation :

i've formatted, try several Windows 10 optimizations.

But the only thing to avoid noise in Headphone + Master out was to disable "intel turbo boost" in Windows. (My PC don't allow to disable it in BIOS...)

the soluce here :

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360011920423-DDJ-1000-and-REKORBOX-5-3-0-BETA-3-4-or-5-3-2-don-t-like-Intel-turbo-boost-in-Windows-10-with-my-IntelCore-I5-8th-latest-generation

Please tell me...

Hi,

I have tried that setting (turning off Intel boost by going into power settings) and the problem still persists...
