It's now the second time I tried to record a one hour mix on the XDJ-RX2 using the build in Master Record Button. On Both occasions after I loaded the files onto my pc and listened to them I heard some strange parts where a part of another song replaces a part of the currently playing song so the currently playing so is just gone and another one is playing even though I did not mix them like that. I think it has something todo with Needle Search or the Search Keys.
I have the following settings: the Volume of Deck 1 is up, Volume of Deck 2 is down and the Fader is in the center and Fader Curve is set to THRU.
I think it happens when I use Needle Search or the Search Keys on Deck 2 even though the Deck should be completely silent because the volume fader is turned all the way down.
When I link the XDJ-RX2 with rekordbox via midi and use the rekordbox master record feature, I'm not having these issues.
I hope this can be addresses soon via an firmware update.
If there is any further Information I can give to help debug this issue I'm happy to provide it.

The recording function only captures what is sent to the master output (actually, pre-master; the master level doesn't affect the recording level).
Are you using the track marker button at all?
What is the make / model of USB drive you're recording to?
I have just tried to set up a new RX2 for a friend. Having had the same product for nearly 3 years i thought i would find the process very easy. i have updated the firmware to 1.38 as this is the latest version and found that the master record doesn't work. all the usb's are fine and i even took my correct ones to use on the new RX2. on start up the light on the Master record lights up but will not do anything else. can you please help me. i travelled for 2 hours to help a friend only to feel frustrated.
