Rekordbox track loading delay and freeze from explorer

I am using a DDJ-1000 with Rekordbox and if I don't do anything for even a minute, lets say I am talking on the mic and then I go to load a track, there is a delay whether I use a browser knob or the mouse to select and drag. I turn the browser knob and it takes a good 7-8 seconds for it to kick in and then it usually end up 3-4 tracks past where i wanted it because of the delay. When I click the track using the mouse, after 7-8 seconds it highlights and the sub menu pops up.This happens regularly. The other problem is after I select and load a track, if i want to keep browsing, instead of moving down from the track I just loaded, it jumps back to the top of the list and then I have scroll all the way down again, very annoying.

My other problem is I get freezes all the time when selecting tracks from explorer. Freezing where the track doesn't load, the icon is spinning (windows 10) and eventually the "program isn't responding message" appears. The track that is playing will still play but no functions work except volume control. I end up having to restart rekordbox. This is a major problem. I have a massive library with folders within folders. Am I correct in thinking that if I create a folder as a playlist and then drag my other folders into that folder, it will rectify this situation as it seems this only happens when selecting tracks from the explorer tree? Now if this is the case, though it shouldn't be because files should be able to load without a problem from explorer every time (never had this problem with Traktor) then I should be able to drag a folder that contains subfolders into a playlist folder and keep the subfolders intact. In other words if I create a hip hop folder as a playlist and then drag my Jay-Z folder which contains subfolders by album, into that hip hop folder,  the album subfolders go away and all the tracks just go into the Jay-Z folder.  I will have to drag each individual album folder into the Jay-Z folder to maintain the album subfolders the way I want it. I should just be able to drag a folder into a folder playlist and all the folders and files within that folder should go along with it, just like windows explorer.
