Very high volume and saturation on my headphones when using the built-in soundcard

Hi everyone!

That will be my second question :) Does anyone else notices a very high volume in the headphones coming from the built-in soundcard when using the DDJ-RX together with the Mac as a soundcard? That means when you put your Master Cue on.

I wanted the other day to make myself a playlist and check out some tracks at night for a gig with my headphones but the sound was too much loud. Actually the basses were being saturated in the output and the quality was really poor. Do you know if it's there any way to lower it down or at least to make it to not saturate my headphones? Curious thing is that they are a HDJ-1500, I'm telling you it's not a headphone issue.

I'm kind of lost here as well, should I plug-in my computer straight to the DDJ-RX mixer and switch one channel as CD? Did you guys find something similar or maybe it is my device?

Thank you so much in advance!

Sorry, I'm not clear on how you are using everything...

Are you suggesting that you have the PC Master Out enabled and you're cueing the headphones on the DDJ-RX itself, or through the computer?

Yes, exactly this. I have the PC Master Out enabled. The peaks are insane... Too damn loud, and as I cannot control the volume from the computer the sound gets saturated...

What happens if you have the PC MASTER OUT disabled?
