Yup, looks like a hardware problem. I'll direct you to please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.
Hi I have had a look around on this forum - the VINYL SPEED ADJUST on deck 2 doesn't work.
Deck 1 fine - super sensitive - I've re analyzed all my tracks with different modes.
I have the same tracks on 2 USB's - I have swapped the USBs over and all the tracks on USB 1 & 2 work on deck 1 VINYL SPEED ADJUST
but none of the tracks on USB 1 or 2 work on deck 2 VINYL SPEED ADJUST
any ideas?

what are to trying to do?
the "vinyl speed adjust" knobs control the start up and spin down speeds of a track, if adjusted fully cloclwise the track will start slowly and speed up until it reaches the proper speed and when you stop it it'll slow down gradually until it stops, bit like when you press the power off button on a record turntable. If you are trying to adjust the tempo of the track use the tempo slider
Hello thanks for stopping by.
Put simply - what I am trying to do is just use it as it's intended.
I know what it does:
adjusted fully clockwise the track will start slowly and speed up until it reaches the proper speed and when you stop it it'll slow down gradually until it stops, bit like when you press the power off button on a record turntable.
On deck 1 this works. On deck 2 it does not. VINYL is selected on jog mode.
All the tracks I have on both USB's are identical - they have all been analysed in the latest version of Rekordbox - all the tracks on both USB's work on DECK 1 VINYL SPEED ADJUST - exactly how you said above - none of the tracks on either USB change speed when you move the VINYL SPEED ADJUST ADJUST knob on DECK 2.
Do you understand? Only the DECK 1 knob is affecting the slow down and start up speed - DECK 2 knob is not.
settings on DECK 1 & 2 are identical.
have tried swapping USB's with the same tracks - all work on DECK 1 - none of DECK 2.
Re analysed tracks with DYNAMIC & NORMAL track analysis modes - again tracks analysed in both these modes worked on DECK 1 but not DECK 2 VINYL SPEED ADJUST
I also tried using both NORMAL & PERFORMANCE Analysis Process in settings - same result as above.
I have installed the latest firmware -
I contacted support - still no reply for 48 hours plus.
I'm out of ideas ha!
see deck 1 on the left - when the knob is all the way to the right it starts up and slows down very slowly
deck 2 on the right - starts up and slows down at the same speed no matter where you put the knob ....
What if the knob is only a part of the way around?
Hi thanks for stopping by! The speed does not change no matter where the knob is. It’s the same if it’s part of the way around - none of the way around - all of the way around. It’s like it just doesn’t work at all. It only affects deck 2 deck 1 works perfectly.
looks like a hardware fault then
does it do the same thing when nothing is loaded on deck 1? Just to rule out a sync/master issue
George
Hi George. Yeh.
If it is hardware what could that be? The knob the jog wheel?
I contacted support 4 days ago I got an acknowledgement they received it but no reply since.
