Recording

Hi iam using 1210s rekordbox and a toshiba laptop all working great. I've managed to get it set up to record my sets but its using asio and when I try to get the record to master out it will only work with internal speakers. I use an external amp that's in the record on the mixer. I need help.

What's the Pioneer DJ hardware you're using, and how do you have it configured within rekordbox's audio preferences?

Hi i have the rekord box that has my decks running through it and the box is connected to my toshiba satellite laptop with an external hard drive i have my amp running into the rca record ports on my mixer an allen and heath xone db4. My audio preference is set to asio deck 1 and deck 2 my input to deck2 asio and my out put the same the only other option is internal speakers or coax option. I can't get to record a set as i cant get a master out to work on any preferences. What am I doing wrong. Sorry novice with digi tech..

When you are using rekordbox in EXTERNAL MIXER mode, the audio is being sent via the USB output to the DB4 for the mixing. If you don't have it configured for an input channel from the DB4 back to rekordbox, this is why the recording isn't happening.
