[Bug] Recordings lost with Rekordbox 5.3.0

I just lost another good set to rekordbox. This is the 3rd time this happened.

Leaving "album title" blank might be the problem. If done so, the recording does not show up. Anywhere.

The recording was about 3h long.

Is there some temp file to retrieve it from?

There is, indeed, a bug where if there is a single space added after the artist name, the recording file is lost. They were not able to include it in the 5.4 update but it should be included in the next one after. Thanks again for your feedback.

If you go to the Pref other tab it should show you exactly where your recordings are located.

See, it's not that I've never recorded anything before.

It is just gone. And yes I have checked everything. Sorted by date created, modified, I even everything-ed my PC for every possible type of file and creation dates.

Nothing.

They are just gone. Lost in the aether. My suspicion since this happened only with recordings over the 2 hour mark: Maybe there is some diskwrite error due to the file size rekordbox does not report?! Is there a log that tracks recordings etc.?

Ok think I've found out why the recordings aren't saved.

When there is one or more spaces (keyboard space) behind the artist name, the file is not saved.

I feel there should be at least a warning that the given parameters are invalid.

They weren't able to get the fix into the 5.4 update before it rolled out, but as long as you don't add a space after the artist name, it DOES keep the file.

No thats not true.

I do not alter the artist name for months. and yet intermittently the recording is not saved.

Also, the new updates screwed my effects on my xdj rx2. even when my level depth is at 0 and the effect is at Delay. the dellay effect leaks and affects the main as if it was turned on
