Almost all of the products are now working in a very similar fashion, and this is to simplify the transition from one unit to the next.
You can sync, or you can manually beat match, that's up to you.

Hello.
I’m planning to buy the DDJ 1000 To home for practicing to CDJ’s. My question is, Is this controller works on similar way like the CDJ’s? I mean it to the beat matching. Is the recordbox still helps to keeping The beats together If I am switching off the beat matching on the controller? Or is it working hundred percent like a CDJ.
For Example: I was playing from CDJ 400 with a Djm 600. The BPM was setting up for 120 on booth CDJ400s, but after a while they are moved from each other and I had to correct it by the jog wheel. Im looking for a unit what is working on the same way. I have a DDJ T1 with Traktor, but It keeps the tracks together always after I set the beats together.
Thank you for your help!
Its similar in design and execution, but if you're practicing for a CDJ set, wouldn't a CDJ style set up that doesn't use software be ferret. The RX2 or XDJ-700/1000 with a mixer would be maybe a better set up. the DDJ-1000 is designed after the CDJ/DJM set up, but it will rely on you using rekordbox and not a drive as the other pieces do....
So it means that the software will helps me in beat maching anyway with the DDJ1000, and with the CDJ’s it works on different way?
