Gettin crazy over the delay in my headphone.

I dont understand, in my headphone it seems that spot on the beat. when i open the channel or look at the wave on my macbook im a bit off. If I put them spot on, by looking at the waveform.I hear a bit off in my headphone.

can you please help, this is what DJs need, that they can trust there system that it is spot on

I work with my macbook pro and Harmon/Kardon box Onyx that I connect from master 2 with a jack to the box. So it seems the delay is pure some in the output for the headphone?!?!

@Tim > Sorry, but you mentioned you use a Harmon/Kardon Onyx... are you connecting that via Bluetooth? Because if so, that is the cause of the delay; audio transmission over Bluetooth adds roughly 225ms of delay to the signal.

Try a direct (wired connection) to a speaker instead.

No i'm connecting over RCA red and white to a jack in the onyx. But like i say if I see on my screen, and wave is on it. Then its ok... but then he's off in my headphone and visa versa. So it has absoluty nothing to do with Onyx. I tried several speaker, I had an old small monitor same issue. 3 different macbooks... same issue. other cables same issue.

So now I'm here and this needs to go away!

I see the same problem turning up on this forum, but that djing is about. Normally you shouldn't have the watch waveform in RB to be sure. i'm get a bit frustrated about it. Whatever I do, reinstalling etc etc... nothing help. Really I need a solution after months.

You understand me. my track is on the beat in my headphone, you open the channel and how my god! Way beside... i control the track by watching on my RB waveform. An all goes well, i but back on the headphone and know it's f*ck*d in my headphone.

So to be clear it has something to do with how the sound is brought to the headphone.

Is there a solution please?

@Tim > The lag described in the other topic was to do with the delay caused by the audio routing when using the FX. If you've updated your firmware, that issue would be improved.

You can certainly tweak your Mac's performance, but what you're describing doesn't seem correct... you're saying the headphones are delayed after the master output signal, can you confirm that statement?
