Are you running the master output through a home stereo or other similar device where a delay may be introduced due to audio processing?

Hi - I am having the same problem.  I connect my RB to a PC, my speakers (standard Klipsch speakers, using a standard jack) to the PC headphones input, and my mixing headphones directly into the RB (the front socket). All direct; no bluetooth. I have tried every combo of audio setting I can think of. Note I am not very tech savvy. Can you help?

@Ben > If the Klipsch speakers have any kind of audio processing they could be introducing a delay. Again, the DDJ-400 itself has no capacity to delay the audio between the headphones and master output - it must be an external device causing this to occur.

Thanks! Is there a way to disable any such audio processing, or do I need a new speaker system, and, if the latter, any you recommend to avoid this issue?? Thanks again - appreciate the prompt response.

@Ben > Totally depends on the device - many have what's called a "direct" mode where all those functions are bypassed.

Thanks, I'll take a look. By device, you mean the PC or the speakers? And last question: is there anything else you can think of that may be causing the issue, insofar as it is not the audio processing doing it?

Well, they look like they should be straight-forward in terms of signal > amplifier > speakers, but the THX certification can sometimes mean that it is actually running through an audio processor. Unfortunately it also looks like that combo doesn't feature any method to bypass it or change the processing type.

One more question -- I have trouble shot everything, and it is not the speakers, nor the software it does not appear ... Could it be that I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro?  Have you heard of them being problematic? Thanks!

They're problematic in their own right, but that would not account for any delay between the two sources as they're both coming out of the DDJ.
