Unresponsive jog wheel display for DDJ-1000

It started with jog wheel display freezing while the other things of the controller working. when loading the first song the jog wheel display worked fine but then when the second song is loaded to the other job wheel the display froze. I reinstalled the ddj 1000 software for windows 10 and both rekordbox software and controller firmware up to date. now after reinstalling the drivers the issue got worsened. rekordbox alone works fine but the moment the controller is connected rekordbox stops working and so is the controller. if i take out the controller's usb connection, then the rekordbox starts to work again.

Only things i did not do up to now is going back to an older version of the firmware and rekordbox (I dont have copies of the older versions to try out).

Any help resolving this is much appreciated.

Problem is, you can no longer find this option in the new NVIDIA control panel, at least, i can't?

maybe install an old driver, change this setting and then install the new driver again?
