DDJ-1000 issues after latest updates

Hello,

Not sure if this has been reported already but after the latest updates (v1.06 and 5.4.3), the BPM seems to change by itself when beat sync is off and is set manually.

For example, when I adjust the tempo slider on the controller to set a level, eg 124.02, it appears to be fixed but when I next glance at rekordbox, it's changed slightly to 124.06 without having touched the tempo slider.

It's not a huge issue but still quite annoying as it means having to readjust the BPM halfway through the transition.

If the BPM is changing on its own with sync, that tells me the track analysis was done in the wrong mode; please re-analyse that song in NORMAL mode, not DYNAMIC mode.

Are you certain the track you're playing was analysed correctly, in normal mode, and is not in sync with another track where it's trying to adjust the tempo to match?

Yes, and sync is off when it happens. It's as if there's some kind of a lag with either the controller or rekordbox in responding to manual adjustments in the tempo slider.

I will try to provide more information when it happens again (it seems to be fairly frequent following the last firmware/software updates).

The issue keeps happening. All my tracks are fully analysed and I have beat sync turned off. After I've set the BPM manually with the tempo slider, the BPM in rekordbox changes by itself a few seconds/minutes after I stopped touching the tempo slider.

Yesterday, it even did it to BPM set manually in rekordbox. I entered the BPM for a track at 132.00. A few minutes it had changed to 132.02. Sometimes the change is much bigger and therefore does affect the beat matching during a transition.

Anyone else having this issue?

As you can see, the original poster was using 5.4.3, so it's not related to the version of rekordbox, or started because of an update.

There is always a chance that you have the hardware slider in such a position that it bridges two values and as such, the software may register a change (as if you had nudged it). Consider hitting the sync button and this becomes a non-issue, or simply give it a slight nudge back.

I am afraid problem is much complicated. The bpm jumping random, for example, 127.00 , 126.97, 127.04 etc. This issue have both player. And excuse me but I do not use SYNC button , by the way in SYNC mode is the same. I take a video as you can see the problem ( sorry for the qualty ,the sound come from the headphone) :
