Did you turn up the master level knob?
I just purchased the DDJ SB3 controller and already had Serato DJ Lite installed on my MacBook. Upon plugging in the controller I went to Serato, where I began using the controller. I saw the db levels moving and was able to see feedback from my interaction with the controller, so I know it is working, but I have no audio output. Please help!

Did you turn up the master level knob?
Was there any resolution to this situation? I'm having the same problem using my brand new Mac book pro, ddj sb3, pioneer head phones, and chroma usb b to usb c cable, and Serato lite. I get output through my head phones in Serato when I plug head phones into my Mac book pro. I've turned up all the level and no audio output despite the controller lighting up and getting levels. PLEASE HELP!! very frustrated over here and wondering what I'm missing.

Hi, Im having the same problem as Chris Williams, please help.
@Flavio > Are you also using a Mac?
Yes, MacBook Pro 2018 on OS Mohave.
Do you see the DDJ-SB3 listed in your audio devices and MIDI studio window when you open the Audio MIDI Setup app?
Yes, I just came to understand that the SB3 would not be able to reproduce sound through Mac internal speakers, correct?
I do see the SB3 listed in my MIDI panel and because the volume was not high enough, I was not able to listen. So, its working now. However, there seem to be a delay, is that normal?
No; when you have Serato running, the audio output is through the SB3 itself, not the internal speakers. There are some 3rd party software apps that would allow you to capture the audio and re-route it to the computer speakers, but your mileage may vary.
As for the delay, that would primarily be due to the buffer size you have set in your Serato preferences.
Ok thanks, let me check
Hi I have just bought this controller aswell and am experiencing this issue. I have checked and changed the audio output to DDJ SB3 Audio Out but still only get static. I am using a DDJ SB3 and macbook pro. Any help appreciated.
Marcel,
Make sure the cue button (the little 1 and/or 2) is pressed and lit up while trying to play a track. Also make sure your headphones are plugged into the control. That solved my problem. I hope this helps you
Hello. I am having the same issue with a Windows 11 device (surface book). I have the DDJ-SB3 controller and DM-40 speakers. The software seems to be working because the controls impact the song, but I can't hear anything.
