DDJ-WeGo4 + WeDJ iPad Crashing

Can you provide any additional detail as to the kind of tracks you're playing, or what you did at the time?

What model iPad is it?

It happens with .wav and .mp3 files. It has happened with .mp3's ripped from CD's and purchased from Beatport as well as .wav's that I have created within WeDJ.

I am using a iPad 6th Generation model number MR7K2X/A

I have noticed it will happen during track playback when I hit cue or any other button. It happens at random (usually in the middle of recording a set or during a live radio show) and I cannot replicate the issue.

I am getting the same. Primarily when selecting the time stretch note icon when plugged in but can quit the app randomly at any time.
Doesn’t happen when not plugged I got he wego4.
Seems to have been since the 14.x iOS update.
I’m using an iPhone 11 Pro and Djay AI

Are you using .wav's or mp3's? I have tried a few things and seem to have less crashes when doing the following:

Making sure no other apps are open while using WeDJ

Making sure (with mp3's) there is no album artwork larger than 800 x 800 (idk why but when I had Pioneer XDJ-R1 it had issues with files that had larger album art sizes and it seems that WeDJ with my DDJ-WeGo4 has issues as well - Pioneer really needs to sort this out).

That being said, I am on iOS 12.3.1 and still get the occasional crash or suddenly have no master volume and your issue may have to do with the latest iOS update - WeDJ is LONG overdue an update to the app considering it is paid and there are plenty of people out there with DDJ-WeGo models. It is a shame the software does not work better as it has prohibited me from using the setup for small gigs or house parties - I still need to rent a set of XDJ-1000MK2's anytime I do a show to guarantee a smooth set.

It might be worth creating a new ticket on this as well so someone from Pioneer is more likely to respond. Best of luck
