DDJ1000 driver not listed in Rekordbox on Mac Pro/Catalina set up

When I try and select the DDJ1000 audio driver in Rekordbox Audio Preferences, it isn’t listed, even though it interfaces with the unit and I can even cue up and play tracks (but cannot listen through headphones plugged into unit).

It works perfectlyfine on my MacBook Pro with MacOS Mojave, but I recently bought a new Mac Pro and restored my system through Time Machine, and upgraded to MacOS Catalina, and although I can use the controller, I can’t use the audio card inside.

I have the latest firmware updated, (1.07) and driver (1.0.0).

Can you reinstall the driver so that it asks for permission in the security preferences.  I think that with time machine it may be there but not installed through the Apple security preferences.

I am having a similar problem and re-installing the driver isn't helping.

Did a fresh mac OS install and in trying to update the firmware for my 1000, the adapter got disconnected when the update was at 9%. Now the 1000 isn't being recognized when i try to do over the firmware update.

When i power it on, the power bar in the effects screen loads but no other lights are coming on in the leds, pads or screens. Tried it on my windows laptop, tried power cycling but leaving it unplugged up to 15 mina and same thing. The 1000 basically isn't coming on as it should. What should i do from here?

Wow... i would hate to have to go thru anything more than just a simple software install cause i'm in an island in the Caribbean and i got this like 5 months ago. I will try reaching out and see how it goes.

Well, it's not recommended that the power get interrupted during a firmware update...

And you weren't able to get it to boot into the firmware update mode again by holding the button combo? Usually that's the recommended procedure if it fails.

I tried getting in utility mode with holding down shift & play while powering up and got the same response.

So at the end of the day what the issue was for me was the following:

In “security” preferences, there should be somewhere that mentions items that have been blocked from starting by the OS, in there I found an item from pioneerDJ. Once I allowed it to load it was magically fixed!

@Hyasynth-

I originally got passed all that. The driver was updated and its the firmware that was updating that got cut off. Now the problem is the controller is not booting up to be used at all. So whatever software is in the controller to hv it functioning is where the problem is.

I have updated the latest ddj1000 driver but my mac mini running Monterey is not allowing it and my ddj1000 is showing "no driver".  I have had this happen before and there is a work around to get the mac to ask if it will allow Rekordbox to be an approved driver. I just can't remember how that works

Run the DDJ-1000 Driver Version Display Utility and that will go away.
