I'm using a DDJ-RX on traktor. i'ts fully mapped and working fine. The only thing I couldnt fine is the MIDI note (probably on ch7) that lits up the led of FX assignment when using the mixer as analog (I have an Audio 6 connected).
Did I miss something on MIDI manual? or it really doesn work on analog?
The RX would be acting as a MIDI controller, so it doesn't matter about the analog source, it would be whether or not the software is transmitting a signal for the LED to illuminate.
If the software says "Nope, can't run FX there," then it would not send that signal - so I'd check with NI first.

Well, maybe I didn't make myself clear.
I've mapped FX1 & 2 assign for the channels (1 to 4). Button calls perfect on software, even if I change to "PC" on the front channel assing key.
If it is on "PC" position, the leds work fine (to prove that the software is realy sending the correct midi notes. When I change to Phono or Line, everything works perfect, except the leds on FX assing.
The only clue I came is: or the MIDI note has changed and its not in manual, or the firmware of the controller don't have it mapped...
No news so far?

The FX are disabled when using a line source as the audio doesn't route from the channel to the computer and back - so it would seem that because the controller isn't expecting that you're using the FX buttons for another purpose, it disables them. In other words, those LEDs aren't available when in line input mode.
