DDJ-400 mixing cue/master

I have a problem. Turning the cue / master only hears the cue .... if I rotate on the master nothing is heard. The cue volume is working properly. What can it be ?

The synchronization sync starts when the fader is almost all raised ... is it possible to start it when the fader is in the middle?
