i just got the xdjxz stand alone i know the channel 1 & 2 are stand alone could someone tell can i swith on the fly to 3 & 4 deck to lap top while a song playing on deck 1 or 2 and when i switch to laptop to 3 & 4 does it have to be in export mode or performance mode

Hey Donnie,

Channels 3/4 are for either a line or phono input for an external source, or for the PC, which must be in PERFORMANCE mode. You can switch on the fly, just press the LINK or USB to select that source, then load a track. Just be aware that the beat sync data is not shared between the two sources, so you'll have to manually match both tracks.

If you wanted to use rekordbox in EXPORT mode, only channels 1 and 2 would be available for that.

Hey pulse so in the performance mode for 3&4 why won’t sync won’t work to share between stand alone and performance mode also you can use all 4 decks on the fly too? In performance mode

In performance mode you have access to all 4 decks and they will sync.

Pulse I do know that but you said if I use deck 1&2 in stand alone and 3&4 I can not use sync with it I have to manual match it

Yes, that's correct. When using a source from USB, and a source from PC, you can not sync beats using the SYNC function.

You CAN sync decks from the same source; USB will sync to USB, PC will sync to PC, but not between sources.

hey Pulse that makes sense one last thing if 1&2 are inusb and 3&4 are in perforformance mode can i put a track in deck 1 or 2 while in perforformane mode in 3 & 4 while usb is plug in for stand alone i guess that would be on the fly
