Beat FX Bug XDJ-XZ

Hi,

When using spiral fx the x-pad doesn't work correctly. Choosing 3/4 gives you 1/16 and so on. Everything seems mixed up. Please correct, very annoying.

Thnx

Manual(P103)

http://docs.pioneerdj.com/Manuals/XDJ_XZ_DRI1625B_manual/?_ga=2.22750588.676730805.1584407012-1041082047.1582166640#/

SPIRAL

[X-PAD] (parameter: Sets the delay time.)

[X-PAD] is below when spiral is selected
・The beat display LED is off.
・ LED lights only in the center line.

In other words, the beat display of [X-PAD] is invalid. The delay time is controlled by the center line.
Normal operation.

The link for the manual does not work.

So you are saying that the XZ behaves diffrent than my 900NXS2? i find that hard to believe.

Beatvalues has always been selected by choosing the desired beatvalue on the X-PAD, for example choosing 3/4 should give you that value. That is normal operation. Then you can play with centerline to produce a motion fx (if you want). Why would choosing a value give you another value AND only on the spiral FX??

This is a bug, please check with developers.

I think DJM-900NXS2 works in the same way.

When spiral is selected, the X-PAD beat display does not make sense.Just control the Delay Time, just like Time Vo.

The number of beats calculated from the BPM and delay time is displayed on the LCD display of the XDJ-XZ.

When spiral is selected,X-PAD works as follows

I have the 900NXS2 and it works like it should work. Meaning if you select a beat value you get that beat value on all the fx:s,including spiral. Thats why im saying this is a bug, it should be consistent between the two since the mixer is basically the same. It works on all other fx except spiral.

The X-PAD Line is a whole other fx, also quite hard to control on the fly. Meaning if you wanna do a clean mix with a controlled fx you would not wanna use that one...

I use quantize for fx and linked players, mine then chooses the correct value.

The spiral effect doesn't work on timing the same way; don't look at the numbers, look at the strip between them which is illuminated.

I recently purchased DJM-900 NXS2 and thought I had the same problem with X-Pad on spiral FX.

When I press a certain value # on X-pad, it doesn't go straight to that value #.

(for example, when I press 1/4 on x-pad, both1/2 and 3/4 are blinking)

So this is all normal then? nothing wrong with the mixer?

Thank a lot~!!
