Tim,
If you had purchased a license key for rekordbox 5, that would be why it worked there. If you want to upgrade to rekordbox 6, you'll need to purchase a subscription plan.
HI, i have recently purchased a new computer, installed rekordbox 6.0, updated drivers and firmware for my DDJ-SX. However in rekordbox, i am unable to control anything using the controller
The device is plugged via USB (i have tried multiple ports on the computer)
The device is switched on, blue lights are on "load", and if i connect via USB, lights flash on as well, suggesting my computer does know it exists
In rekordbox preferences, under Audio, i see DDJ-SX as an audio output. So RB knows it exists as well
However i'm not able to scroll through menus, or load tracks, play tracks etc, using the DDJ-SX
I have tried uninstalling / reinstalling RB, and have successfully installed the drivers
The device works fine on my old computer, running RB v5 (i hadn't updated in a while)
I am using Windows 10
Thank you

Follow up, i can see that in Rekordbox the device is listed as an audio device, but nothing under Control Device Information
Please help!
I had the extact same problem for you. I had already set up a subscription plan for the new rekordbox 6, but it still did not work.
Eventually, I figured out what to do:
In rekordbox 6, click on "my page" at the top right corner.
Go to "plan".
For me, my current plan was not activated on my computer. All I had to do from here, was to flip the switch to activate.
Hope this helps.
