DDJ Now not as advertised? -Spotify

I bought my Son (12 year old) a DDJ-200 based purely on the fact that it is advertised as being able to stream from Spotify, now that this is to be taken away from July, am I entitled to a refund based on the fact that it does not now perform as advertised? Its not as if my 12 year old son is going to start purchasing music from Beatport etc with his pocket money! I know this is out of Pioneers hands, but unfortunately this is how pioneer advertised it.

**you can mix music stored in your iTunes or rekordbox library, or stream songs from Beatport LINK, Soundcloud GO, Deezer or even Spotify**

This complaint is coming from my 12 year old son after I told him about Spotify, so please direct your response to him.

Thanks...

Keith,

While I sympathize with the frustration that this will be changing, technically speaking, what we have listed as a supported service on the product page is accurate until that service is discontinued. It DOES currently support Spotify, and believe me, we'd love for it to continue to be available, but unfortunately that's not our decision, it was Spotify who chose to revoke their partnership with 3rd party providers. The WeDJ application which is unlocked with the purchase of the DDJ-200 doesn't support Spotify integration anyhow, it would require a purchase of a subscription for Algoridim's djay app in order to use Spotify.

I will remind our web team that the product page will need to be updated, and should you feel that this is no longer the right product for your son, you'll have to communicate the return or exchange with your retailer.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
