I've been using my DDJ-FLX6 for about a week and a half now and a few days ago I started noticing that it will randomly disconnect from Rekordbox in the middle of a mix then reconnect about 5-10 seconds later and keep playing. I plugged it into a different USB port on my computer thinking it was an issue with the port but then it happened again. I will use a different computer and see if I can replicate the issue to verify if it's the cable or the controller but this could be a problem if I want to play at parties and such.
Try a different USB cable and/or a different computer if possible. Windows machines are especially notorious for not providing adequate power over USB to the DDJ. Even a powered USB hub can help.

Per my reply above - the majority of these types of issues are due to the DDJ not receiving adequate power over USB from the computer. Trying a different USB port or USB cable (or if you're using a USB hub, remove that from the equation) and see if the problem is resolved. If not, please create a ticket with the support team in your region for further assistance in resolving this issue.
