I recently purchased a DDJ-200, and plugged in the included splitter cable into my laptop running Rekordbox 6. However, for some reason, the master output always plays out of my headphones, regardless of what cue buttons are pressed. Additionally, when I press the cue button on another deck, I can hear the monitoring output quietly on the master output. I saw this forum post, but I am not using an HP computer, and I was not able to apply any of the info discussed in that forum to my situation (despite us appearing to be in the exact same situation). I connected the controller and the splitter to a mobile device using WeDJ, and it functioned as expected. Any help would be appreciated!
What kind of computer are you using, and are there any audio system processing apps running? The 2 reasons you would have this happen are the split option is not enabled, or there is something with your computer's output (either software or hardware) which does not properly separate the L / R audio channels.
